Scope
Shared, exported, and published content
Applies to
Vitral sharing and publication features

1. Introduction and Scope

This Sharing and Publication Policy ("Policy") explains the rules that apply when you share, export, publish, or otherwise distribute content created or managed through Vitral AI, Inc. ("Vitral"). Vitral is a modular AI workspace platform built from scratch for flexible, composable work with language models and AI-assisted tools. The platform may include conversations, documents, files, generated artifacts, live samples, and related workspace content.

This Policy applies when Vitral makes sharing, export, publication, or distribution features available and you choose to use them. By using those features, you agree to comply with this Policy in addition to Vitral’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

2. Types of Content Covered by This Policy

This Policy may apply to content such as:

  • Conversations or selected conversation excerpts.
  • Documents, notebooks, notes, and reports.
  • Generated artifacts, live samples, code, previews, and related outputs.
  • Files, images, and other materials uploaded to or produced through the platform.
  • Other workspace content that Vitral allows users to export, share, publish, or distribute.

3. Your Responsibilities When Sharing or Publishing Content

3.1. Ownership and Authority

  • You must own the content you share or have the rights, permissions, and authority needed to share or publish it.
  • If shared content includes third-party materials, you are responsible for ensuring that your use and distribution of those materials are permitted.
  • You may not use Vitral sharing or publication features in a way that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, contractual rights, or other rights of any person or entity.

3.2. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • You are responsible for reviewing content before sharing or publishing it.
  • You may not disclose personal data, confidential business information, sensitive records, or proprietary information without appropriate authorization.
  • If needed, you should remove, redact, or anonymize sensitive information before sharing content outside your private workspace context.

3.3. Accuracy and Responsible Use

  • You are responsible for evaluating whether content is appropriate, accurate, and lawful to share.
  • You may not knowingly share misleading, fraudulent, deceptive, or materially false content through Vitral’s sharing or publication features.
  • You should use human review where appropriate before publishing or distributing AI-assisted content.

3.4. Compliance With Laws and Regulations

  • Shared or published content must comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • You are responsible for determining whether particular content is subject to legal, contractual, professional, export-control, privacy, or regulatory restrictions.

4. How Sharing Features Operate

  • Content is only shared or published when you take an explicit action to do so through Vitral or through content you export from the platform.
  • The exact sharing, export, or publication controls available may vary depending on the feature, product surface, or workspace context.
  • Vitral may add, change, limit, or remove sharing-related functionality over time.

Caution: Once you share or publish content outside your private workspace context, other people may copy, redistribute, preserve, or reuse that content. You should only share content with recipients and through channels you trust.

5. Ownership and Licenses

5.1. Your Ownership

Subject to Vitral’s Terms of Use, you retain your rights in the content you create, upload, or choose to share through the platform.

5.2. License to Vitral

When you use Vitral’s sharing, export, or publication features, you grant Vitral a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, and display the relevant content solely as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve those features and the underlying platform services.

5.3. Access Granted to Others

When you intentionally share content with other users or third parties, you are responsible for the scope of access you choose to grant. Recipients may use the content only within the permissions or lawful scope you provide, and they remain responsible for complying with applicable law and Vitral’s terms where relevant.

6. Prohibited Content and Misuse

You may not use Vitral’s sharing or publication features to distribute content that includes or promotes:

  • Illegal activity or unlawful materials.
  • Harassment, threats, abuse, or incitement of violence.
  • Hate speech or discriminatory abuse.
  • Sexually explicit content where prohibited by law or platform rules.
  • Graphic violence intended to shock or harm.
  • Malicious code, exploits, or materials designed to disrupt systems or compromise security.
  • Fraudulent or deceptive schemes.
  • Unauthorized disclosure of personal, financial, medical, or other sensitive information.
  • Content that infringes the rights of others.

7. Moderation, Enforcement, and Reporting

Vitral may investigate suspected misuse of sharing or publication features, including through automated checks, manual review, user reports, or legal process where appropriate.

  • Vitral may restrict access to shared content, remove content, limit sharing functionality, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts where violations occur.
  • Vitral may access otherwise non-public content when reasonably necessary to investigate reported violations, respond to security issues, enforce its policies, or comply with law.
  • Users may report suspected violations through the Support Section.

8. Privacy and Security Considerations

  • Content shared through Vitral remains subject to Vitral’s Privacy Policy.
  • Sharing or publication may increase the audience or exposure of content beyond your private workspace context.
  • Vitral cannot guarantee that third parties who lawfully or unlawfully obtain shared content will not copy, reuse, or redistribute it.

9. Liability and Disclaimers

  • You are solely responsible for the content you choose to share, export, publish, or distribute and for the consequences of doing so.
  • Vitral does not endorse user-shared content merely because it is created, stored, or distributed through the platform.
  • Vitral is not responsible for how recipients or third parties use content after you have intentionally shared or published it outside your private workspace context.

10. Updates to This Policy

Vitral may update this Sharing and Publication Policy from time to time to reflect legal requirements, product changes, or operational needs. Significant changes will be communicated through appropriate channels where required. Continued use of applicable sharing or publication features after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
